Hey, fellow Owen Pallett fans. I thought this would be a good place to share what I spent the last week doing. I transcribed Owen's version of "Your Ex-Lover Is Dead" by Stars for piano and vocals because the only transcription I could find was crap, and I wanted to learn the song. The sheet music and some more details are here: davidcelis.com/post/7266112422/your-ex-lover-is-deadAnd here is what you will sound like playing it: Please let me know what you think!

This is wonderful because I was trying to learn it off of some guy's tutorial on youtube and while it sounded similar it wasn't very useful without the visuals of sheet music. I'll try it out and get back to you!

Cool! Thanks for sharing this. I'm not the best piano player but it sounded good to me.

Hahaha, no. I recorded the harmony after and stuck it in as a voice over. The harmony adds too much to the song so I couldn't leave it out in good conscience.
