Thanks for the congratulations
With the Junos, most categories are not judged by vote or any sort of critical consensus, but rather, by sales alone.
Certain categories, this is not the case, but that's why you see so much Bieber and so forth
There is a list online somewhere where they detail which awards are which...
Anyway I'm chuffed that I'm nominated, I'll surely lose to Arcade Fire but that's hardly losing, is it?
It's like losing an arm wrestle with your dad

Yay you, Owen!!! This is bloody Awesome! 'Bout time the mainstream Canadian music industry recognized you. Polaris is surely more prestigious due to actually being picked for the quality of the music, but still... Yayy!! And Arcade Fire is up for about a million awards so hey, it's not a sure thing for them yet.  |
