I feel like it's my fault this project stagnated, I never got my vocals recorded. I've just been so busy, school is... great, but I haven't been sleeping enough.
After finals. I'll do my best.

I was wondering how this worked out for all of you. We're looking into doing a Wolf Parade covers album on the Wolf Parade forum, and that made me think of this community effort!

I wish I could recommend it. Actually, I was discouraged by the people on the forum before, but it didn't stop me. I'm not too familiar with Wolf Parade, but I'll PM you my email and if you want any keyboard or basically anything sampled, I can do it really promptly.

Thanks for your help! I'm a keyboardist myself so I should be fine with the sampling, though we may need some help when putting together "I'll Believe In Anything" (the rest of the songs are just covers by individual members and friends, but that one involves all of the contributors). Did you ever finish off with your project here, and is it available to listen to? I'd love to hear what you all came up with! Of course, if it's still in the works, I could offer some instrumental tracks or vocal tracks if you'd like.

I'm not trying to push it forward anymore... but you can hear some excellent results of our short collaboration on the pages of this tread. Just send me whatever you want recorded!

Now that it's summer, I have a hell of a lot more free time with my piano and my ukulele. I can't really write anything because I don't have any programs to do so, otherwise I'd be composing and arranging as well. Let's get this back together!

Absolutely! I've got a few weeks to go until terms over (right now I have no free time at all) but I could write something...

Margarida, I can't get to the file - I don't know, it's not a very reverberant instrument... if you guys are really willing to go on with this again, I have the studio set and I can attack with the piano quite easily. If you guys want. Then I can record the chords for Emyli's song and Margarida can sing - or Danny's super voice. If you guys want!

duuude don't ask me to sing, seriously you'd regret it. i mean, i'm not exactly tone-deaf but i certainly don't sing as well as Emyli or Danny. as for the cavaquinho, if you search 'cavaquinho notas' on google there's a link that says 'dicionário básico de acordes para cavaquinho' and will be able to get to that file. don't know why i can't link it :/ and YES i want it, it's gonna be a nice way for distracting myself during exam time, i just won't be able to do a big number of things; like, i will be able to record that small piece but if it's something bigger i'll need much more time to practice, well, because i'm self-didact and all ^^

Just so you guys know, I'm submitting my comp portfolio in a few days, so I have tons of shiny new scores. If we happen to have a wind trio (bassoon, oboe, flute in this case) a string quartet, a violist & and a cellist, or just a crazy pianist in this here chamber ensemble I have musics for you. Maybe this summer I'll have a chance to write something just for this group though.
