hey guys, i was looking farther down the threads and i thought that maybe we could use some of the lyrics from the graveyard to write a song... i'd do it myself, but i'm not a lyricist. or at least not until now ;D waddaya think?

I suggested that already - what I don't know is whether Owen would be okay with that.

Yeah, I asked him back when I first joined and he said we could.
Also: Sososo sorry. I've been not feeling well. Will record as soon as I can.

Don't worry! Merry christmas! When I return from the power eating I will try to think up something.

In the mean time, some lyrical scraps to play with, if you want them: #1: What have we become Are we elegant losers are we factory drones I know beggars can't be choosers Will we end up alone
Time will beat his drum We will rest our eyes we will fall back on a song For our last reprise and the engines sing along
#2:
You found a note that would not echo and sang it in my ear you sang to me in whispered words that nobody could hear You found a word that had no meaning and said it to my face a snatch of broken melody that no one could erase
and then the sun came out and warmed our marble hearts would you know anything from a fallen house of cards those were the days that set us adrift, astray, and then the sun came out and warmed our marble hearts

Maybe I could make #1 a chorus and #2 its verses?

Here. Just something quick I put together. Pretty simple, eh. But I think it will sound pretty and what I wrote matched the writing. How about a quick recording, cavaquinistas?

Well. It'd have to be slow. Plucking the strings instead of strumming... and comping on the cords. Then someone would have to sing. Can you do it?

i'm gonna try... so what you want me to do is sort of pizzicato with the red notes, correct?

If you guys would like some cello parts, I'm a grade 9 cellist and I have recording equipment at home. I also sing, play guitar and piano. If I posted a simple song with guitar and vocals would people be interested in adding on to it, nothing strict just whatever you think sounds good? This is my music www.myspace.com/samrainer
