What I think is that we should being the CHASTISING process immediately. I urge all of you to refuse Dan's Facebook friend requests and make him a total loner. Not being a native English speaker, I went after the origins of this word and it's totally INAPPROPRIATE but never mind that, LET US CHASTISE.

Ok I have the first one done...how do I upload the file to here? /could I email it?
And I'm practicing the chord changes on the other one as we speak. It's a bit more difficult as far as chord changes go, but once I practice for a bit, I should be able to get it down no problem. I'll try to practice today and tomorrow, try to record on Saturday or Sunday. We got this. I'm sorry I'm slow, but I'm reliable...I won't let this fail, I promise!!!

Sorry! I was joking, thought you'd get it, I didn't refuse your request. Juuuuuust trying to keep the topic alive and not let this thing fail this time. Silly non-native speakers trying to emulate complex communication processes.
Truth is, I can't wait to hear your recording, and Emyli's, and Margarida's. So good luck with those finals!

Dan! I just came back from the gig. This is awesome! We can really produce serious material here (you'll see when the next song gets done!). I can picture us some years from now meeting somewhere for a week of recordings of our collaborative album (and maybe receiving a special guest, who knows?) What I say now is: let's begin working in our own material (our own words, for that matter) and maybe think up an Owen cover so that the rest of the forum will come give us their blessing and possibly augment our formations. Lyricists, time to write!!! I'm really happy with what we've been making so far. Can't wait to see how we'll be should this project live on! And it will! Thanks again for this! It's a great beginning. PS: Emyli, I think you should be able to record over this - you could make your own reference click track, actually. What about your terre orange, is it in progress? |

Oh, nonono. I work best under pressure, and I'm super excited about this whole idea. I'll try to get the vocals recorded today. as for actually composing anything, I'd like to finish at least the first song in my new song cycle before I start another project, but I can flesh out something in my half-finished lyrics bucket and post here. Thats something I can actually do.
