After his two impressive nights in Melbourne, this was just something else – TOOK YOU TWO YEARS, THE BUTCHER, ADVENTURE and CLIQUOT being serious special treats. The third show was actually recorded for radio here in Australia. Owen had a few hiccups with his foot peddles and said he wished the show wasn't being recorded. I'm suspecting it was recorded for Live at the Wireless (http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/live/latw/)... I guess we'll find out soon enough...

Rimbaud, I was there Wednesday and Friday and he didn't play That's When the Audience Died on wednesday

Friday was killer! I asked him wednesday after the show if he could play The Butcher on friday and he said it's really tricky live, but he'd see in sound check, so, you're welcome

Cliquot and Fantasy were just icing on the cake.

EDIT: Maaaaan, I wish i'd gone Thursday too, This Modern Love and That's When the Audience died. Bah!

I'm thinking maybe FBI's Live Feed? I don't think the J's play Owen's music (at least not anymore, now that they suck).

I went to the 2nd and 3rd nights. The 2nd show was great, so casual with Owen calling for requests but I definitely preferred the 3rd show's setlist with those older faves.


I managed to get a few videos from Friday shows. Sorry about the blurriness, I don't think my camera liked the lighting in the Spiegeltent.
