From the newspaper today I have two Melbourne dates, my guess is that he'll be playing at the Sydney Festival too. Excited!!
January 15th - Thornbury Theatre January 16th - The Toff
Best.

This is fantastic news. Can't wait to hear about the other venues he'll be playing.

Other shows that have been announced: Saturday 22 January – Fly By The Night, Perth Tuesday 25 January – Old Museum ( Studio ), Brisbane
So there's a HUGE gap there for him to play at the Sydney Festival (fingers crossed).

Sydney shows are a certainty right? Tickets for the Melbourne shows are on sale tomorrow, and if there aren't sydney shows, i'd have no problem flying down to melbourne for the weekend.

I'm sure Owen wouldn't come all the way down here and not go to Sydney..

Does anybody know what the deal is with seating at the Thornbury Theatre? I bought a dinner+show ticket as I'm assuming those tables will be closer to the stage. Did I waste my money??

If you did then so did I The website says that people with dinner tickets will be allocated reserved seats closest to the stage so even if it's eating beforehand and then taking a seat later it's the best ticket you can get. Also considering a two course dinner is $35 more than the reserved seat I don't think you're wasting your money at all.
