Shahzad Ismaily is amazing! I saw him play with Sam Amidon and opened at the same show with his other thing Party Face. Actually approached him to work with me on some stuff... cool beans.
So looking forward to a studio H the D or E, no matter what you did I am sure it will elicit chills.

Can I just say.... A hypothetical tracklisting: Scandal At The Parkade Honour The Dead Or Else The Man With No Ankles (// Wella Balsam Reverie?) Don't Stop The Party On My Account. (Owen's Voice?) Discuss. WAS I RITE OR WAS I RITE

Did anyone else just receive an e-mail with the EP as MP3s? I'm halfway through Scandal At The Parkade now and it sounds very, very nice. I'm extremely thankful that Domino provides such service since I expect to receive the 10" in the mail while I'm London and I wanted to buy it digitally for my iPod too. So this is pretty awesome.

Yes, I did! I've listened to it twice through and am seriously enjoying it. Scandal is amazing and it's so lovely to have a proper version of Don't Stop. Honour scared me at first with the synth but once it got further into the song I got into it more. I can't wait to listen to the EP properly on some good speakers though.

This really has been a Good Music Week. World's End Girlfriend's new album arrived surprisingly on time, and now I am listening to A Swedish Love Story quite sooner than expected! With a bonus secret surprise thing!
It is fantastic to have studio versions of these songs, some of which have been floating around for over four years(!). They are different from the various live recordings with which I have been accustomed, but that is precisely why I like them. It's like meeting an old friend again, all new and familiar feelings.

Also holy shit, the Son Lux remix is ridic. Seriously. I have never heard his music before, but that is going to have to change. Any remixer who can retain the unsettling ethereality of TGE whilst making it sound like a completely different song is more than alright in my book.

On the whole I'm not the biggest fan of remixes but this one is so good.
