Thank you Owen for your unfailing and always essential insights. As for HTDOE it's been through several incarnations already and all of them were beautiful so I think we'll all be ecstatic with it whatever you may have done to it...

No good for those of us without a means to play vinyl though. I want a CD release!! I don't have a working record player and I still ordered it though. I bought a Mountain Goats LP once too.

Looking forward to the dirty Moog overdubs that hopefully litter H the D or E.

I'm so excited for this. Scandel has been a favorite of mine since i first heard it. Honour was great both times i've seen it live, i hope i like the new version! I'm glad Ankles is the opening track because when i saw it live it was the best opening song i'd ever seen, i thought my face was going to melt! Don't Stop is a really fun song.

I'm not sure I can afford it, but I'm sooo going to preorder it now. I'm glad these songs get an official release. But I'm a bit confused, on the web I'm reading in various places that it's also being released digitally. Is that true or is it vinyl only?

Maybe I'll ask for one for christmas... Anyway, I want to hear versions of MWNA and Honour and Scandal and Don't Stop that are actually recorded and mixed well instead of radio rips or poor audio quality live versions. I've heard them live they were great so I cannot wait to hear them again

Richie, if you mean Portland, feel free to use my record player. It's a cheap POS though, just as a warning.

To add to the blizzard of unanswered (unanswerable?) questions, are we to assume that, with the Domino release, it's not an especially limited edition? Having greater distribution numbers than, say, the Alphabet series? I trying to decide whether to wait or snap it up. I've grown weary with DominOnline's exorbitant shipping rates.
Unwisely testing the fates, you say? Well, I'm broke. (An inordinate number of us are, it seems...)

Oh thank god, this one is in the UK store, I don't have to get it shipped from america -_- That's the only reason I've still not got the LTOHS ep yet :/
Don't suppose it'll ever make it's way to the UK store Owen?

So, 8$ of shipping for a 7$ EP is no normal, eh? I knew something was wrong with that.

1. HOLY YAYYY!!!! I am bloody excited for this!!! *dances with glee* 2. I'm pretty sure I read on the Domino site that it will be released digitally as well (I want both, of course!) 3. Hey Alyssa! How did you pay for it with debit? When I tried to pre-order it I could only see options for M/C or Visa payment. Maybe cause I'm in Canada? That or I missed something... :/ 4. $8 does seem pretty excessive for shipping. I think I paid less than that when I ordered from Tomlab, and that's overseas. Hmmmn... I may have to wait til it hits the record stores out here.. which sucks a bit. 5. I CANNOT WAIT to hear this Honor the Dead version!!!! And everything, everything else! 6. Apropos to nothing = I've seen a dozen interesting insects today while outside having a smoke.

I probably should have checked out Domino's UK store before buying from the american one...Oh well it's only a few quid more than it owuld have been. suburbanmyth, I used a debit card but it's a Visa debit card so I can just use the Visa option..so I guess that doesn't really help you.

Unwisely testing the fates, you say? Well, I'm broke. (An inordinate number of us are, it seems...) I'll be perfectly honest and say that my mind skipped past the price when I ordred it. This record is only slightly less important than a medical procedure I'm saving up for, but I figured I could spare the $12. It'll feel wonderful when it arrives in my starsunk Ohio eyes. 1. 3. Apropos to nothing = I've seen a dozen interesting insects today while outside having a smoke. It's a Canada thing, I think. The debit's actually a mastercard sort of affair. Hope you got it ok! Apropos to nothing, appropriate for everything. I wish my night walks were that interesting.

It confuses the crap outta me, too.
