No, thank you! The more people listen to that ep, the easier it will be for me to get her to start recording again.

My friend Steven lives in Albuquerque and sent me the following: "Here's one for the under-the-under-the-radar album collection. My friend Kevin Hume has been working on this thing for close to two years now, and it is finally complete. Keep in mind that he recorded 90% of this at home, and that his mixing process was a bewildering chore of dumping and re-dumping his recorded tracks through all sorts of neat, odd gear. Technical crap aside, he is a magnificent arranger and composer. He's truly a pioneer of home recording here in ABQ. Be one of the few to cherish this piece of art." Let's make that "few" a few more, hey? I've been enthralled with the album all morning; nothing here would be out of place in the soundtrack to "The Royal Tenenbaums," the arrangements fitting somewhere between Peter, Paul, and Mary, Donovan, and "Five Leaves Left"-era Nick Drake. I generally am put off by too-cute folk, but the obvious effort that went into this is disarming and I've been won the fuck over. Let's here what you say. kevinhume.bandcamp.com/album/anne-marie-and-other-songs?auto=mp3-320
