Considering I'm paying so much for postage I'm surprised that its going to take so long to get here. I've sent stuff to and from Montreal much quicker than two to three working weeks. Tut comma tut... my impatience begins.

Yeah, I'm assuming mine will be hand-delivered by a knight of the realm, presented to me on a velvet cushion. Leather-bound. It's amazing how improved the Royal Mail is these days No, it's precisely because the unions have been so resistant to modernisation.

IS omgmt in fact, Patrick? I've been wondering for ages about this. ages? and to think only months ago I had to remind you 'patrick' didnt end with 'wolf'. I bet that mine arrives last...I always seem to get post later than i should. I'm all for that bet! I pre-ordered the Heartland record the second day it was available and received it this last Monday. Hahha, ohhh... Still! Heartland score! Man! I dooo have an 'in' with the school's symphonic band, and I think flare gun could work into one of there approaching concerts rather well.. but then do we really want to be hearing highschool's playing owen songs?

Hope you don't have to wait as long for this as you did for heartland.

I um I mean it's um hey leave me alone Flare Gun would be a hard choice since its tempo varies, and everybody's gotta be really tight for the effect. But the candor of playing the song is the most important thing. I say go for it!

I'm become rather patience and sort of use to being harassed by the postal systems.. still I really want to see this really soon... But the candor of playing the song is the most important thing. I say go for it! err yess.. I've been working with the audio with the symphonic song I wrote for them, which for the most part is damned easy, I'm so incredibly they put up with me and did all that.. but still ((out of tuneee; disregarding rhythms!!))ha, but I thought flare gun being it seems most compatible for a symphonic (string-less) arrangement... I've also heard them play professionally written songs with similar tempo changes which they pulled off quite well! still, if I were to even suggest it, it means I'd have to rewrite out all the parts and what not, which-sadly-I really don't have time to do...

Well, if you had the symphonic scorebook you wouldn't have to worry about it! ;D The album version has scores for 2 Bb clarinets and 1 bassoon doing that main 4-note crescendoing figure, later joined by 2 oboes and 1 horn. 2 flutes cover the trills. Meanwhile, strings and trombone cover the between-measure licks, except for the two violins, which sometimes take the 4-note crescendoing figure and the trill. Things eventually get more complicated after "oh my soul" with the clarinets, but what I've described is the essential formula. That would be very, very easy to score for a stringless orchestra. What kind of instrumentation ya' got?

Guess what came in the mail today? Expedient! Also, I am rationing my ritual. Four songs with score tonight, four tomorrow, four the next day. Wash, rise, repeat. I am putting stickies by techniques, sounds, and instructions that I like. One is "athletic" which always reminds me of [url=http://nicomuhly.com/news/2008/marked/Nico[/url] as a marking.

People from For Great Justice Records are the best people ever. =D
Why? Because of this:
Even if I end up not getting it, this is incredibly awesome.
