Pssst...
What key is Keep the Dog Quiet in? I've been wondering for months. Both G♭ and B? I should just buy the score of course, but I'm kind of saving up for a better violin. As in, 300$ instead of 99$. XD
I can't wait for He Poos Clouds though! I'll definitely get that one! ;D

Both the "tonic" chord and the key signature are B. The piece follows a vi - I pattern, with an Fx / g-natural darkening the vi.

I still don't have the money for a Heartland book, hopefully the HPC score is a bit cheaper

Yay! Just ordered the scorebook. I'm surprised it wasn't sold out or anything like that Shame I only play the piano but I guess I can try to do some arrangements Maybe I can show this to our Music Director and get our school's orchestra to play it. But yay for the scorebook! I'm glad it was made/released.

I bought this amazing score book, (over $25 AUS to ship it all the way down here to Australia) and i'm super excited because i'm first violin in our school's symphony orchestra and i'm going to convince out conductor to let me conduct flare gun/ E is for Estranged next year. Also we're going across to Sydney to perform at the Australian International Music Festival so i might be able to conduct them in The SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE!!!!! OMG!!! (assuming there's not copyright infringements :S *tugs at collar*) Sorry guys, but with news like this you have to tell someone...

I hope your conductor lets you play it, that would be amazing. You'll have to get someone to record it.

How are you going about separating the score into individual parts?? I was planning on sitting infront of Siblieus for days to re-score, but did you find/ are you finding a quicker way??

Nope, that's what i was going to do too (what a drag). Also i'm going to arrange the vocal parts into the score so i don't need a singer, even though i'd love to do it myself. P.s. I love Vancouver, i was thinking of moving there after i finish high school.

Man, if I didn't live on the wrong continent I'd volunteer to sing, I'm sure you can find someone willing to sing with an orchestra easily enough.

(despite our crappy weather we've had lately :/ ) I was thinking of doing Midnight Directives or maybe even The Great Elsewhere..... But I think MD would work much better, because TGE seems more like a 'layered'/'looped' song, which would be a tad odd for a live orchestra performance. Good luck with Flare Gun (and it's crazy tempo changes ) and E is for Estranged!!!
