I just finally got round to buying (and playing with) Logic Pro, and what better test project than playing in bits of "Midnight Directives" line at a time using a tiny old Casiotone keyboard (Casio SA-1 0 it's really cute and lo-fi)? The fruits of my labour are here: www.mattwinkworth.co.uk/MDtest.mp3 ... only the first half or so, and still things missing/dodgy mix. But has been a fun couple of hours! Not sure I quite have the patience to carry on, as this really was just to get playing with the software... you should definitely carry on!

Ha, thanks guys I think I am gonna try and finish it. Normally if I do covers I like to make them 'my own' but this is more just a teach-myself-Logic project... The restriction of the tiny, non-MIDI keyboard is actually quite fun - the only reason for using it was 'cos my proper keyboard was stuck in a school theatre for a yout' production of "Beauty & the Beast" haha. I can feel a lo-fi album project coming on ;D

PS. I always misheard "as the cutlass came down" as "in a Countless Kingdom" (!!) as in, a kingdom without Counts, in my mind's ear...! I might try and write that into a song of my own sometime, teehee.
