I had a dream recently that O.P wasn't real and that we all collectively invented him. I either have listened to Heartland too many times and interpreted it poorly, dreams are always meaningless... I actually dreamed this, though. I can't remember how we found out that he wasn't real, though. I found it quite disturbing, or else I wouldn't have remembered it. I would make a rough estimate that I remember a dream twice a month. It would be cool if all of as were delusional together, it would make for an interesting study fro' sho.
I know this sounds so weird, but I like dream analysis. I'm really sorry if I sound like an ass. XP

While driving back from my parents' after Christmas I wrote this long, elaborate lyric-style poem from the perspective of a prophet of Spectrum being all, "by believing I make Owen exist", so don't worry about sounding like an ass. Your dream is like Lewis backwards!

I was thinking about that just the other day, but in a slightly different way:
What if Spectrum invented Owen, and Lewis invented us? This forum, the so called "real world".

What if its all lies and reality is just perception and there is no spectrum?

What if its all lies and reality is just perception and there is no spectrum? Don't... say that! Incidentally, people were talking about offing themselves after seeing Avatar cos they wish they could live on Pandora. [/offtopic]

I think we should stop this train of thought, incase the next stop is Balamb Garden.

Considering the amount of people I know who love that game, it probably isn't that unlikely.

As far as I'm concerned, you're all just phoney profiles created by Owen Pallett, and all these threads are just him talking to himself. So yeah, nice idea, "Emyli".....

Perhaps we're figments of his imagination which are so self-aware that we have our own "consciousness," but are in fact directed by Owen's whims.
This feels a lot like the existential crises I had when I was 12...except this time I'm a part of a sexy violinist...in which case it doesn't make me feel so bad.

Dear Owen Pallett, I saw you play in St. John's on Saturday night. I have joined this message board out of a rather consuming desire to express my gratitude to you. So- thank you so much! Any reasonable person might have turned back after the first two attempts to reach our tempestuous isle. Thank you for persisting! Your performance was amazing! I began reminiscing about it immediately after its conclusion.
Cheers, Andrea
