I actually didn't start the happy birthday singing! i swear! Yes she did, I saw her! She bribed another audience member to start it, in order to divert suspicion. In regards to the birthday ball in particular, I couldn't stay for the whole thing, but I heard there were a few cancellations. Did any replacements come to fill up the 30-band-bonanza? Then again, I suppose the super awesome Megali + Gentleman Reg + Laura Barrett + Bob Wiseman + Owen Pallett performance should count for more than 1. |

Owen, I hope that your abnormally large vegetable brings you as much joy as the two days of incredible music this weekend brought me. Seriously, my mind was blown several times. What was it anyway? a zucchini? Also "love song to an empty room" made my day! Thank you for many music-gasms.
Tristan you lying fiend! I invite you into my home and this is how you repay me? Despicable. You know I'm joking I assume. Wait, did you say bribed? It was demonstrated to you how poor art-kid student with brick walls out my windows I am. I mean, I don't know anyone who'd accept a bribe of 220 Icelandic krona and 10 cents canadian tire money.
Regarding the cancellations, my friend and I were singing on our way to the show, a walk which took about 20 minutes. I'm sure that also counts for one. If not, then I guess you're 27 again. Enjoy!
