any one else having trouble accessing the video stream? It worked fine for me the first time i tried then i tried to advance forward and it crapped out. When I try now it comes up, says its ready and is buffering then ... nothing ...

BLAH! The program recorded the stream just fine, but then it went and overwrote the file with something else. I've been trying to recover the original, but things look grim.

UGH.

My apologies, everyone. I'll work on extracting from the video instead.

Just watched the video through and it's excellent, pretty much the best recording of Owen I've ever seen. For any violin players, you can see most of what he's actually doing with his fingers ...and on the violin (!)

Bad jokes aside, if anyone could grab it off the stream it would be really great. I gave it a go but there's drm I can't beat. Good luck!

wicked. thanks so much. Without this I would have undoubtedly spent all day trying to figure it out (VLF was happily downloading it with the file size growing bigger then i went to bed - it finished at 4am - to wake up and find the file is now 0kb. Part of me still wants to refuse admitting defeat and try to figure out what went wrong...now i can watch the performance while doing so!)
