WHY WASN'T THIS SONG ON HEARTLAND?
I just listened to it. It's so good; it's one of the best songs I've ever heard. The vocals better have been really bad, because I can't imagine a vocal melody that could ruin such a good song. I guess if it meant sacrificing another song, then it might not have been worth it, but it's too good to be a B-side. I really hope he does release a B-sides or something, considering how good his unfavoured songs seem to be.
I wonder if we'll ever hear this one live.

Do you even need eggs to make Chicken Noodle? When I make Chicken 'n Noodle Soup, the noodles are simple, made of flour and eggs (and it does become quite a swirling mess). That may not have been what he spoke of, though.

From the "Food Tourist" website:
"Nearly every culture has a soup based on chicken and egg. Sometimes it is in the form of egg and flour dumplings such as the Russian-German Knephla soup. Around the top of the Mediterranean, the Spanish, French, Italians, Greeks and Turkish all create minor variations of a soup with beaten egg whisked into it. On the southern side, the Algerian Djari Byad also sees egg yolks and lemon juice being whisked into chicken soup at the last moment."
I just finished reading Günter Grass's "The Flounder," a long, wonderfully weird treatise on sex and food. Chicken soup and its nurturing, feminine properties is mentioned a lot, and every time, he remarks that the chef swirls an egg into it. In both this context and in "AWD," it sounds just horrible and rife with symbolism.

We were all thinking about this one, Richie, and you know it. Kudos to you, Tristan, for being courageous enough to say what everyone thought. *applause*

Honestly Richie, Owen writes a song called "A Watery Day" and you expect me not to make horny in-you-end-oh's? Please, you're lucky I have enough self-respect to not post pictures of how much I really enjoy heartland.
