i was playing around with a silly mess-of-a-string intro for Cardiac Apathetic and realized my means of recording are awful. the noises i make sound like someone is holding an old cheap microphone up to a radio with poor reception. i dont know if i should mess with it. it being the song... its so. well, damn good as it is... i feel like all i would bring is static. that's why I want to call it Les Dilettantes! That and it just rolls off the tongue, no? Yes

Nonsense! You're probably being too hard on yourself, I said no pressure! I was a little worried about that though, I have a pretty cheap mic myself, so I had to reverb it up a bit to make it sound more 'professional', because I wasn't sure what recording arrangement you'd have. If it had less reverb, then the recordings would probably sound more like they belong together.
If you really think it's that bad, you could try syncing your recording with the song, send me your track only, and then I could try 'sanding' it a bit. It's really not a big deal; it's not like we're going for song of the year.
Les Yeux Des Mouches? That's sounds so good!!! Plus it would be appropriate if we ever do those Les Mouches covers. I'm thinking of doing Divorce The Ones You Love, but it would just be more accordion and trumpet (I have very limited resources), and I figure you're all sick of that by now.

Of the Les Mouches cover thingy? Sick of It? Are you crazy? I'm stiil interested as hell of being part of that!! Also, I have a Rock Band mic, I guess it's prety professional...

hey guys AMATUER IS AWESOME! I had the pleasure of seeing him live today (only two songs due to a horribly long list of stressful reasons i won't get into) and I was stupidly smiley the whole time, and it appeared that everyone else was aswell.

Awww, thanks Keren!
On a completely unrelated note, KIWIBALL IS AWESOME! I didn't see her play, but I did see her hair, and it was pretty fantastic!

To those of you that listen to my music: I'm gonna delete all of the music off my myspace(its really awful anyway), so now is the time to get it, 'cause I'm revamping my sound! It's gonna be dance-pop/IDM/Electronica with my own spin on it, and I'm totally excited and pleased with the initial results.

No! "B Alright" is so good!
I don't remember the other titles but some of the rest were really good to, though that was the one that struck me most.

hmm, maybe I just post the new stuff under a different moniker? I don't know, man, just go with it. You had some really good stuff going on, it sounded like you were starting to develop in a really positive direction.

thanks man, I didn't know too many people were actually listening. I had writers block for a few months but its going going gone now! I'll keep the good'uns until I find something that is worthy to replace the schlocky songs.

dont ever delete your music, especially if it hasn't been made into a cd. I recorded a whole bunch of songs last summer that were sweet, and lost them when i was moving laptops. =( sarpedon, I will follow your music until you stop making it. SIDE NOTE: I'm releasing an E.P of chronicalling my experimental music process to date. This is the album art.

lololo Fuck the 37th Chamber is great title! But only if its in reference to Wu Tang!
I had this great idea to make Wu Tang Clan videogames for Nes and Snes.
First, for Nintendo Entertainment System Enter the Wu-Tang 8-bit Diagrams
Then, for Super... Wu tang Forever 32-bit chambers
You can choose from Rza Gza and Odb and all the music would be 8 bit loops of Wu beats.
Don't act like its not the best thing you've ever heard.
