Wow, thanks! It's actually largely based on my dreams, especially the ambiance. I have plenty of new stuff I'm working on that you should see up very soon.

Quick question. Next track: vocals, or no vocals, and if so, normal, or processed? I can't decide.

by the way, a while back suburbanmyth asked me to cover Lewis Takes Action, and I'm still down for that, if anyone wants it, or any other song for that matter.

Dear Sarpedon, I am SO double-friend-requesting you on MySpace! Richie, I'll tell you what; I'll let you download the songs, and in exchange I get to tell my friends that someone in Hawaii listens to my music. And you shouldn't feel sad, You should feel glad! If I can write a half-decent song, I'm pretty sure anyone can. As per request: www.megaupload.com/?d=S78MJOSXIf anyone wants any Accordion/Trumpet for their imaginary/real band, I might be able to provide. Love Is Too Slow is such an awesome song! Would mind telling me what key it is in? I kind of want to try to do a cover of it, though I'm not sure how that'll work out.

Love Is Too Slow is such an awesome song! Would mind telling me what key it is in? I kind of want to try to do a cover of it, though I'm not sure how that'll work out. Oh boy, this might take me a second to figure out. It doesn't have any sharps or flats, I don't think, so that would make it.....C? Unfortunately my music theory is limited to what I learned in physics class. The song is mostly with F and C major, so it shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Please do cover it, make it beautiful! BlueInk/BlackThink, I've been listening to your gracious free album the past few days. I love it's humble and homemade quality. The songs mostly incorporate simple repetition, but at the same time there's a chaos to the repetition that really makes it interesting. It's as if the melody never quite does what you expect it to, it tickles my ears! The miscellaneous audio documentation is a nice touch too. Do your friends know that some creepy guy in Toronto is listening to their conversations?

No, I think they've all forgotten about it. Which makes it 1000x more creepier.
Thank you for your kind words! They boost my self esteem.

we REALLY need to start a web collaboration, whether with les mouches songs, ff songs, or originals! We've sort of been flirting with this idea for a while now, so I thought I'd take the first step. I am hereby starting an online open collaborative project. It's called "Les Dilettantes", because french is cooler, and because "The Dilettantes" just sounds stupid. We'll send songs back and forth over the internet. Anything goes, anyone that wants to join can, and it's just for fun, so no pressure. I've just finished a piece. I know you're all talented, so take it, add to it, remix it, make it shine, do whatever you like (just don't try and sell it). I tried my best to keep tempo to make things easier for you. It's 260 beats per minute (until the end when it slows down), and it's in the key of D. Have fun! www.megaupload.com/?d=VYVGMOUK

Hahe, I like the fact that Dilettante means Amateur in French. Also, there's already someone who has a music project called The Dilettantes =/ . But yeah, I'm in when I'll compose something worthwhile.

But yeah, I'm in when I'll compose something worthwhile. Aw man, I wanted our band to be psychedelic-garage-rock too! What's also interesting is there was another band called Amateur in Massachusetts that was really good, although I think they're defunct now. Also, if you look up the French translation of dilettante from English, it gives you Amateur. I've always wanted that name for a band, but alas, I have no band. You don't have to compose something great, that's why I want to call it Les Dilettantes! That and it just rolls off the tongue, no?
