Oh Tristan, talking about accordions! I might PM you in a few days asking for advice on purchasing one. I am seriously thinking of saving money until my birthday and pay half of it, while my parents pay the rest. Your help would be incredibly appreciated. ^_^ I find it bizarre yet wonderful that I have somehow become the Accordion go-to guy on this forum. I'm no expert, but I certainly have some experience in the market, and I'd be happy to help in any way I can.

Ren/Esther, this is magnificent. It will take some serious listening though, I feel like I only heard about 5% of it on the first listen. Pysche's Sister is really, really cool, it's definitely my first listen favorite.

I love that everyone has different first-listen favourites. Thanks emyli! And everyone! You guys are helping me fulfill degree requirements.

Strangers off the internet listening to your CD is a degree requirement? That sounds like an awesome degree.
Anyway the kind of choral-sounding bit at the end of the first track is also really neat.

Haha, no, but having a certain number of people hear your grad piece is. Usually this requirement is fulfilled by a performance in concert, but mine was never performed, just recorded. So I have to get people to listen to it!

WOW! It really says a lot for Owen's music to be so well loved by such great talent! I really hope I can hear all of this at some point! As for myself, I really haven't been making a lot of music lately. Damn being so busy! I have participated in some collaborations (http://cllct.com/art/skyfinity, which I am not that proud of) and plan to record an album on the same site later. I am about to begin work on a piece for string ensemble.

"Silver" sounds like old Of Montreal, which is pretty cool, and your "noise" track sounds pretty good to me. Keep it up. ^_^ Hmm, I might record a cover in the next month or so. It'll only be violin and voice. I just have to transcribe each instruments to the violin, and try to make my (crappy) voice sound nice. I won't say what's the song, but it's from a slightly famous Toronto (twee)pop band that I love. Have fun guessing.

Hey soooo.... I don't know if I have posted in this thread yet, but I wanted to share my original music with you guys, especially since I just updated my MySpace. I know MySpace is lame but WHATEVER. If you'd like to take a listen that would be great: www.myspace.com/devinemooreAnd I guess besides my original stuff I also have a couple covers on there, including my Lewis Takes Action one. Thanks!

Hehe, congrats Ren. The musical is over, so now I'm devoting an obsessive amount of time into my senior project: minimum 150 hours on an album. Timewise it's going to be half-covers half-originals, but the originals are longer. I'm looking to cover HPC and TLSC from Owen, Accidents by Arcade Fire, Like Someone in Love by Bjork (Cover of a cover...), Woody Guthrie's America (the v2. project of which I am now listed), Martha My Dear by the Beatles, Godot's theme from Phoenix Wright/Gyakuten Saiban 3, and Winter is Coming by Radicalface.

Dear everyone, Check out Craig Norris' Track of the Day tomorrow. Just saying. Love, Ren NO WAY!!! ....wait, they tell you ahead of time? Or are you just that confident in Craig Norris' treasure finding skills? I had to find out the hard way. Edit: I also just realized that they re-did the old podcast with a voice commentary. I feel special all over again.
