I bet it took a lot of guts to attempt one of Pallett's most complicated pieces, even if it was out of boredom. I applaud your efforts, sir, you're braver than I.

Are there any songs anybody would like to see a cover of that hasn't been done yet? I'll try to add some acoustic instruments if I can.

I'm finished transcribing Honour the Dead or Else, recording the instrumentation is just taking a while but I'll get it.

I've been working out Honour the Dead or Else at the moment as well, though I suspect yours is better, mine's a bit rough in places.

I've been working on the piano score of "this lamb sells condos" for a while now. It's has really tricky rhythms and also I've only been playing piano for a little over a year now. It's coming nicely, also my piano teacher (a classically trained jazz enthusiast) has become an owen pallett fan. so that's something

Also, i've been hearing a lot of mention of songs of Owen's i've never heard, such as "the miner becomes forgetful" (the cover of which I am currently enjoying) and "the sea". no. 1, where do they come from? and no. 2 where can I hear them?

1) The Miner Becomes Forgetful is a song on the Many Lives -> 49 MP single/EP. There are tw versions of The Sea available. The original is from his first album called Has a Good Home while another version surfaced when the Young Canadian Mothers 7" came out. The second version is called The Sea (Tenderizer) and it is a lot different.
2) Buy them.

The intro is so fun to play though. Anyone tried to learn the He Poos Clouds trascription? Its a fucking bitch.

It's hard to start with, but it's a very very very well done transcription, so it's very satisfying. Also once you get it, you feel like a total badass. Same with the This Lamb Sells Condos, but I have large hands so it's not too much of a stress...and with the Flare Gun transcription which I'm grappling with now.

It's the last, last song. After "Better Than Worse".

It's the last, last song. After "Better Than Worse". It's not actually on the UK version of the album.
