Wow... what a great sound. The acoustics of St Georges Hall lived up to the expectations. It was so pure, so clear, so wonderful, I had goosebumps and my hair (if I still had any) was on end.
The show, pure Owen.
Half was from the new album and included the live debut of Midnight Directives. This was the only song I'd not heard, but the recordings just can't do justice to the quality of the performance. Its music that deserves to be played in such places as St Georges. Hopefully the wait for Heartland will be short because the new material is amazing (I think I said that a few times last night as well).
Steph's light show was as gorgeous as ever. I won't even try to describe because I'd not give it justice, which really is the same for the songs so here is the setlist from memorandum and you'll just have to close your eyes and imagine you were there. Yes it was that good.
Horsetail Feathers E is For Estranged Lewis Takes Action Midnight Directives Flare Gun The Butcher He Poos Clouds Hey Dad Many Lives -> 49MP Keep The Dog Quiet Great Elsewhere This Lamb Sells Condos Lewis Takes Off His Shirt CN Tower Belongs to the Dead You Light is Spent
A very big thanks must go to the promotor of the show, perfect venue, perfect sound and a perfect host. I take my hat off to you.

Holy atmosphere.
It all sounds so spacey. like if the heartland was actually an asteroid colony filled with pseudo-christians who loved owen.

Half was from the new album and included the live debut of Midnight Directives. He played that on the BAM show. Owen said it was it's first live performance and its not on any of the BAM setlists I've seen. I'll have to check my BAM recording to confirm. Edit: Ha your absolutely right, he did play it at the BAM show, on the setlist its down as The End Of Time. I didn't spot it because the performances where so different and the ending at Bristol was much more memorable than the BAM Recording..plus some of us believe every line we are fed.

That one guy posted a recording of it, and I've listened to it circa 40 times since that, so I was pretty certain amazing song anyway. And thanks for posting the videos! (:
