the Göteborg concert was amazing. I left during Lewis Takes Off His Shirt though ._. was incredibly hard to do, especially since sat in first row... But I managed to catch half of Deerhunter's show as well.
Does anyone have a setlist though? I'd like to know which songs I missed.
Also, that slow The Great Elsewhere-version was amazing :> and I loved your t-shirt, Owen. Need to get myself one of those.

I daresay, I think I prefer "The Great Elsewhere" at a such a ponderous pace. It makes the layering more appreciable and all the more gorgeous, thus making my favorite "new" song even better!

is it wrong that I started laughing when I realised what Owen did with Independence?
Who is Sylvester Boy? I thought Steve Kado AKA The Blankket did IinS?
WHY IS IT SO GOOD?

Okay..lets clear this one right up before we all go horrible wrong... Independence Is No Solution was written by Thomas Sehl who writes music as Schorsch Kamerun. Sylvester Boy was the electro-punk persona of Thomas Sehl that released the track on the album Monsters Rule This World. Steve Kado aka The Blankkett did a cover on his recent Pegatively Nositive album. As Mr Fantasy's version bears more resemblence to the Kado cover than the original, it would seem it is a cover of a cover. Great song.

so thanks to a certain Mr. Ink/Think I have a new level of appreciation for not only this cover of a cover, but life in general. (and I think he might in return have a new appreciation for No Doubt's Hey ya .) So, while looking for an original version of this song I stumbled on a parallel universe of ff fans. This always hurts my brain when it happens. multiple fan gatherings for the same artist? turns out this ones more of a video game appreciation site but the two, games and music collided...i guess. so if anyones up for it. here are the HD versons of those lives. Independence Is No SolutionThe (slower) Great Elsewheredoes anyone mind re snagging the audio to Independence? the first one never worked for me and I think this version might sound clearer...
