I promptly decided to tell my kids I was taking them to DisneyWorld, but instead dropped them off at an orphanage.
Best. decision. ever.
Because I then went to DisneyWorld. And it was awesome.

See the thing with kids is knowing how to manipulate them to like the things you like rather than the things your better half likes so that you get to do the things you enjoy without being told that you're selfish and things....I know a bit selfish of me but there has to be a plus side out there.

The flip side is when your better half knows this already and is plotting your downfall. I'm probably heading for Girls Aloud and McFly even as I type
