Due to the fact that it snowed the other day, turning me into a cynical grumpy-pants, I feel the time has now come to talk about.... SUMMERRR!!!! ...... & FFESTIVALS!!!!  So what about it, hmmnn? Has anyone heard any hints, rumours, etc. of any festivals Owen might be appearing at this year?? |

I haven't heard any rumours yet, but if he's not to busy doing album stuff and EP stuff, and doesnt mind busting his carbon footprint it would be amazing to see him at Latitude again in England!

AAACCKKKK!!! Final Fantasy will be at Bumbershoot this year. Seattle Centre - Aug 30-Sept 1 this would be incredibly good news for me as i'm just a couple hours north of seattle BUT for the fact that in between here and there are the US Border Patrol who are unfortunately sporting an unhealthily large hate-on for me.  lady luck has left me. |

I have images of wanker-border patrol people shouting "hate-on" and having an aura of nasty mean spirited-ness now... it's also amusing that I'm wearing a shirt saying lady luck If it's any consolation I got a really bitchy rejection for a part time job at a cinema, they sent me something along the lines of: "at *insert name of evil corporate cinema who rapes the world* we pride ourselve on maintaining a high standard of outstanding employees and therefore after much consideration, we regret to inform you that we will not be taking your application further at this stage" I guess being a university student and having over 4 jobs with fantastic references just doesn't cut it when you want to pop popcorn and rip tickets  *sets fire to letter* Here suburbanmyth, have some japanese cat weight lifting action www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhRU68v-ESg dont let those mean patrol poo-heads stop you from going to see owen. |

You know what would be a good festival??? 20 notable toronto indie bands collectively preforming Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. i'd go see that.

oh wow...I would totally goto Regina if I were not in NYC for Radiohead that weekend. The fact he is playing all 3 days makes it suck even more Owen - will you be in Winnipeg before or after this Regina deal!? |
