Bush is set to arrive in New York City late Wednesday. He'll meet with firefighters, instrumental in 9/11 rescue efforts, and he'll hark back to the fight against terrorism that has defined his time in power.
On Tuesday, Bush spoke to the same group, and was forced to distance himself from comments he made in a previous television interview in which he said the war on terror couldn't be won.

i've watched a bit of the RNP and it seems to me that they are only talking shit about john kerry or praising bush...but not one of them are talking about any issues. it's crazy.

that's not true. he's said a ton of shit that PROVES he's a total idiot. I would say Bush wants people, particularily his opponents, to underestimate him as a simpleton, and plays to the ignorance of the public, but I wouldn't say he's stupid.
