which is a complete bummer that john kerry is the next option. seriously, why is the general public always OK with the fact that there are no viable options in politics? or with choosing "the lesser of two evils" unfortunatly corruption is a pre-requisit for making it in politics.

i disagree. even if 'the system' is set up in a way to attract a certain type of person, that is no reason that someone couldn't step up and change things for the better. there are definetly alot more people that would benefit from someone in power that cares more about the population than the bank account.

Pretty much all of this so far is true.
Not to mention, the ideas that the NDP expresses in their platform would work great if we had an infinitely larger budget. Their mismanagement just dwindles everything away. Ideas only work if they're backed by competence and can be put into motion.
