Hey there. myself and a few others have started a hardcore/metal influenced band in the Courtenay/Comox area. unfortunately we are short a drummer.
we are searchign for a drummer from anywhere really. willing to move and start practicing asap. must have had live experience and a drivers license helps (haha).
influences include: misery signals, javelin reign, story of the year, from autumn to ashes, zao, blood brothers, my chemical romance, foredirelifesake, remembering never, walls of jericho, the cloak, saosin, fear before the march of flames, scarlet, every time i die...
please respond in this thread if you are indeed interested...thank you

Not very hardcore, brahhh.
More metalcore duderrr. Don't wave a flag that's not yours! ;D
Anyway, if I was into that stuff, and I lived there, and I drummed... you can be sure I'd help? Whatever, sorry man.

We want to start a hardcore band. Those bands influence us. I wasn't necessarily saying those bands are hardcore. Thanks anyway.

I'm 200+ and have short hair.
Not saying you have to be a big dude to listen to hardcore, but chances are that your friends don't listen to hardcore.
