I saw the black rebel motorcycle club at the commodore and they were by far the worst band i have ever seen live. shitty, generic music+rock star attitudes= absolute horseshit. But i had a great time watching them flash their leather and winking at the hoochies in the front row. basically, an amazing band to make fun of. They kinda remind me of the kids at my college that straighten their hair and wear 3 sets of studded belts on a pair of pants tight enough to make any guy unable to reproduce. With all the hives, vines, strokes and the rest of the regurgitated, unsubstantial, fashion-infected garbage that passes for "garage rock", this band just adds to the already tall pile of shit. Earth to garage rock revival: The Stooges did that shit proper 30 years ago! Sorry for the ranting, i'm just waiting for my food to get cooked and i need to get my mind off my hunger.

That's how I feel about punk these days. Man, punk hasn't rocked in a long time. Since like 1979. Well, with some exceptions. I do like a few bands. But there are way too many punk bands being formed, and not nearly enough of them are good.
