this show should be at the Brickyard or somewhere large enough for them to play, they are well known enough, and what are they gonna get paid at Mesa luna? The Brickyard goes too late most of the time, bands will probably play til 2am while the crowd slam-drunken-beer-dance, it's dangerous at times with the beer soaked floor and broken bottles. At least Mesa Luna is an all-ages venue, meaning more young girls there for cushioning and more time to get home for those living out in Abbs and Wack as the venue usually end their shows at 11pm. Mesa Luna has better lighting. Also, the Brickyard is just too small of a venue for this tour. If anyone went to the Blood Brothers show @ Mesa Luna, you would recall that the place was packed... the bands got paid well as they charged $15. The Dillinger show is going to be just as good. I'll give you a scene point for the "scenester points" comment though, not a lot of people own Dillinger albums.

the show tonight was alright.. the venue wasn't as good as last time i saw DEP there.. they wouldn't let anyone one the balcony.. as for the crowd.. it was scenesters vs metalheads.. and a lot of pre-millennium jonny hughes haircuts
opening bands blew milk bubbles to all 'hot' chicks who play the keyboard: LEARN HOW TO PLAY! or at least use both hands once in a while!
the locust were great.. my first time seeing a show of theirs.. it was a treat
the thing about dillinger escape plan is they bring their own additional lighting system on stage and give everyone seizures... they were fun though

I can't wait! I can't believe it takes them a whole month to get to Vancouver from TO.

, however I will be missing this show because Mesa Luna sucks, this show should be at the Brickyard or somewhere large enough for them to play, they are well known enough, and what are they gonna get paid at Mesa luna? . mesa luna has a bigger capacity, AND its ALL AGES with Booze.. best of both worlds for a touring act.

buy them at Sratch Records on Richards St. in Vancouver.
I've already gotten 4 or so tickets for friends there. They're $15

not true, i bought an extra today at scratch records. they said they had more available too, and that more might be available at the door at showtime.
