believe whatever you want, worship however you want, and call yourself whatever you want, as long as you're seeing the powers that be in the way you need to in order to get through life you aren't wrong

Roju, You'r absolutely right, and I, in turn am a jackass. I kinda tried to recover my dignity after noisy got me, but there was still a lot of crap in my original post that needed to be slammed back in my face. The weird thing is that usually I'm fairly pro-christian.
The one thing that I will stick by though, is that it's important for people (kids especially) to take time and do some serious reflecting on their own spiritual views, without pressuring (not that I'm saying only Christians do this) by their parents, teachers, elders, etc. The rest of my post was mostly crap.
Interestingly, my Grandfather DOES believe that muslims are going 5ô¤£ell, just because they call their god 'Allah'.

first of all, cranology is indeed NOT a sin. one might believe that the christian faith belongs to cranology.
that is a false rumour caused by anti-cran attitudes....

or it might not be you muslim hating motherfucker. right... to continue on with the conversation at hand. Roju, I agree with you completely, the diversity of the church has brought wonderful things to this world in the name of Christianity, namely Pastor Fred Phelps, a generous and loving christian, here's his website. www.godhatesfags.com check it out, all in the name of christianity, all in the name of love. remember kids, our diversity is our strength. fuck you all.

muslims are going to hell because they crash planes into buildings in the name of Allah. now normally i dont really post stuff about religion or politics, but today at church ( yes i go to a church as well as a bunch of scene heros) i learned something very valuable. and that lesson is that you should identify your enemies and love them. and i think everyone should at least do that once in their lifetime. it could change the way you think. and if everyone is all about being different and controversial and such, then stop following this crowd of hate and violence, and be different by loving your enemies. i know i will. now you can go ahead and make fun of me, but seriously, i dont really give a fuck, because believe it or not, i love you.

please... don't put words in my mouth.... I never said that the diversity of the church was a good thing. I'm not going near that... .... and don't drag me into you emotion-fueled anti-religious post. I really don't like being quoted out of context.. after all, quoting things out of context has led to some serious divergences in the faith community and in mainline society as well. It's cool that you're putting in your thoughts to these posts.. just leave me out of them.
Thanks
Oh, and how did you come across this site? Do you browse hate literature much? Not cool....

Since the topic of religion has come up, I thought I'd share my two cents.
Religions like Christianity are based on faith. I know I've heard everything like it's not based on rules but a relationship, and I suppose that's all true and I can also look past the hypocricy and judge my views on the teachings of Jesus and the Church, but what I can't come to terms with is faith. Along with other aspects of christianity, including eternity and God, faith is impossible to comprehend. I'm sure it's nice to have all the answers to life, have a nice little guidbook and to know that eternal bliss waits you, but I find that a little too formulative. I stopped being a Christian when i decided to be honest with myself and realized that I didn't actually know half the things I was saying because they were all based on faith. And I dont want to live the rest of my life by faith, only hoping i know reality or what i'm doing is right, while borrowing a morality already telling me what will make me happy or shameful. I find myself wanting to learn and experience my own life, piecing things together myself through what others have said (including jesus) and basing it on what i know and have experienced. I know i'm far from knowing everything, but i feel a lot closer than before.

could anyone have said it better, is their anyone out there who can be blunt, honest, and critical without loosing the plot (eg. cordilliobasketcase's sweet post). stu- youre a gem. what got me the most was the heaven/hell thing... seems like the whole dangling carrot thing is a sham. but a reward like heaven or a punishment like hell(probably, if not completely, metaphorical anyhow has no significance to the way i live my life, and i think anyone who it does change things for, should re-evaluate why theyve ever done anything for anyone. because if people are only loving towards me because theyre scared to go down then i dont want it.

kudos to stu. well said.
I'm sorry if i got people riled up. i never wanted to start more people hating each other, there's enough of that already. what we've just seen here is a perfect example of how things get fucked up in this world: people can't agree on something that shouldn't be a big deal in the first place, until some asshole pipes up and tells us to 'fuck us all', before you know it, people are so alienated from each other that somebody straps a bomb to their chest and walks into a crowded marketplace. well, that might be a bit of an exageration, but you get the picture.
From now on I'll keep my big mouth shut!

Yeah. Tyleron fire. you're right. Everyone is so quick to jump on sumone elses back just to be right or prove a point. like alot of those people in the weekly paper. They write one thing in about what they think, and for the next three weeks there's a good 10 people who jump on the guys case. AND!! the point of what he wanted to say just gets lots. It's like that with some christians too. Some. not all. they say what they think, then get attacked by people....and they're opinion/point is by now out of context.. OR it's the christians who jump on people for what they think because the christians are soo determined to **win**the conversation. $ By now everything is lost $ I just find it ironic how many christians there are who step out of what they're supposed to be.. (loving,accepting,forgiving...look it up in the Santa Biblia) ..all to be right. but whatever. we all make mistakes. i just wish we all as people could be more aware of them.or care enough to. -a christian
