Owen was great as ever. It's amazing how tight the performance has come on since say, the Spitz gig. I have to say though that as this was the 6th time I found I was a little bored. I think I was enjoying the wonder of my friends who had not seen him before. This isn't a negative but it's true, you can have too much of a good thing. nah, not really. nah, definitely not really. I could stand / seat and listen to this music everyday and not be bored...Hmmm.. actually I've probably listened to some Pallett music every day since 6th May 2005 when I first bumped into him outside the Academy Birmingham sorting through his sheet music.

The Stephen O'Malley thing, I agree, would've been fine at a shorter length and probably would've got a better reception if people hadn't been standing up for hours waiting for Owen by this point. The videos were well good. I was at the front but not quite at the front enough for stage leanin'. My poor back D:
The shadow-show was superfantastic, but a bit distracting. You weren't sure what to watch. I was behind a girl with the most beautiful green hair with a little pink wooden bird in.

although i agree that there are some bands/performers that seeing them play once or twice live is enough (veni. vidi. vici.) final fantasy just doesn't fit into that category for me. i've only seen him perform three times so far but every time filled me with such joy *JOY!* & if he came & played once a month, i'd scrounge the $$ to go to each one. & the different venues have such an effect on the show & there's always Brand New Songs! & Old Favorites Resurrected! & 1000-watt-Charisma! yup. un-jaded am i.
