Let us take a moment to bow our heads for the sort-of recent demise of "Let's Get Baked," the finest vegan cooking/Canadian music awareness podcast since, well... I guess that's a pretty niche market. But many a happy hour shelving books at my old library job was passed with the plucky hosts, Basia Bulat, FemBots, and Jenny Omnichord, and I hope they know they are sorely missed. A search through their archives... letsgetbaked.ckdu.ca/... will bring you to a really great Elvis Sandwich (Fried-Peanut Butter, Banana, and coconut "Bacon") recipe, along with the information that Green Bay, Wisconsin, has the finest rock-a-billy festival in North America. |

I was pretty sure it just ended for the season. If true this is very sad news, indeed. For those looking for dinner ideas to mark this sad occasion, I highly recommend the Burning Hell's "Bad Thai" - tasty and can be done supercheap. |
