Ooh, I'm working on the bass tab for Tryst right now. Speaking as a bassist myself, I love that part of the song. It's simple, but it's so easy to groove into, and the little touches of ornamentation make it really fun to play.
Word of warning, I don't have an electric bass with me, so I'm working off a guitar, and my octaves may be inaccurate as a result. I've also never written out anything in "tab" notation either, so I may butcher that/write it out some other way.

I don't have an electric bass (although I would like one real bad) and usually practice bass lines on my guitar too since the high E string is missing on it, so it's not a big problem. ^_^ And as long as I can make something out of it (And if there's some problems with the notation I could always modify it and re-post, credits to you though =p)

Thanks so much for these. I've looked all around the internet for Final Fantasy chords and this is the first place I've found anything really substantial. I'm working on banjo covers on a couple of his songs, and this thread has been phenomenally helpful.
That being said, anyone have anything for That's When the Audience Died?

If a sus4 is defined as moving the second chord element up to the fourth, and an aug5 would raise the fifth by a half-step...
...would G#aug5sus4 be the same as C# minor?
But these are perfect for improvisation work, a great bedrock for figuring stuff out too. Thank you!

I know nothing about the theory of music so I suppose that's possible. I used to play it in another key and was less complicated (well, at least in my mind):

If you call it a G#aug5sus4 it should probably do at least one of the following... been preceded by a chord with C# in it, resolve to a G#aug5 chord, and the whole chord should resolve to a C# chord of some type. I hope this is helpful^^ I didn't see anyone put the chords and I need something to keep my chord spelling from from decaying over break so here they are. (I'll just go measure by measure even though it's mostly repeating) Chords for E is for Estranged: AbM/Eb, AbM/Eb, Fm/Ab, Fm/A, AbM/C, AbM/C, Gm/Bb, Gm/Bb, Gm, Gm, Cm7 (no 5th), Cm7 (no 5th), Cm 7+13 , Cm 7+13 , Cm7 (no 5th), Cm7 (no 5th), Cm 7+13, Cm 7+13 I tried to do pop notation, but it doesn't look quite right so I think I screwed it up. Also the last two chords... the second to last is Cm chord with a minor 7th and no fifth, which is I'm pretty sure how you'd read it but it looked vague to me so I felt the need to elaborate. The last chord is just a C in the base and minor 7 and 13 (Bb and Ab) which is the best I could come up with. I did these rather quickly so I could have made a mistake.
