Didn't expect to hear Owen playing me christmas songs on the piano this evening but it was a lovely surprise to see him as part of Patrick Wolf's band playing at Shepherds Bush. Owen looked lovely and dapper in a tight suit perfectly complementing Patrick's slightly more eccentric clothing. Shame they didn't duet though. David www.last.fm/user/djh30 |

Nice surprise wasn't it? Very snazzy suit, and his violins added extra oomph...just made me even more excited about Feb!

Im not keen on his new sound/look tbh. hm yes it was quite the departure from witw but it makes for fun, rather than introspection and like... starkness. i think though... while he is young, and while he can, he is just indulging himself. i have high hopes for his next album, given what i've heard at shows and the live stuff. |
