There have been a few whispers around about a possible show in Ireland in December.
Well as it will break on some blog or other very soon anyway, I've been give permission to let you know the details:
11th Decemember 2007 - Vicar Street, Dublin.
I have NO information on when or where tickets will be made available.
Also - Very Important
Before everyone else starts getting excited about a european tour, it is NOT likely. This was a convenient date that fitted in with other plans.

Excellent. Just heard about this last night.
Tickets are currently available from Wav ticket box on 1890 2000 78. Just booked mine. I believe they will be on ticketmaster.ie soon for international people to buy.
I think its around 23 euro and its unreserved seating. Also pretty sure its 18s+.

"I want to go but have no money for flights/hotel and tickets"
Pish posh. You don't need a hotel! Last October my boyfriend and I took the ferry over from Holyhead (17euro!) for a Final Fantasy show. Didn't book a place to stay. Sat in a burger place on O'Connell Street in the middle of Dublin until they kicked us out at 4am. Then couldn't for the life of us get a taxi, so we had to walk to the ferry port. Took us two hours and we probably inhaled fumes no one should be inhaling whilst walking through the port to the Irish Ferry building. Accidentally fell asleep on the benches, and had I woken up 10 minutes later we would have not been allowed to board.
So what have you learned? A) no hotel needed B) burger place on O'Connell Street open until 4am C) ferry port in walking distance D) all of this makes a good second date*
*cannot guarantee the validity of this statement
Go on!

I just checked and flights from Stansted to Dublin Airport are exactly ONE PENNY both ways for the day. (however with taxes etc that comes up to twenty pounds but still twenty pounds isnt too bad. )

^god bless ryanair and it's cheapness. If you live within easy distance of Bristol you can get flights on the day of the gig and back the next day for 2p including taxes and charges.

hawk and a hacksaw? that's a nice addition I reckon there'll be some annoyed people over it though. They were supposed to play their own gig in Dublin that night.

I think there was more people torn about missing A Hawk and a Hacksaw to see Final Fantasy as there will be people upset by them having a support set so its probably worked out as good as it could have. Also it will be excellent exposure for A Hawk and a Hacksaw as I think the crowd will be very receptive to their music. All in all what was already probably going to be a fantastic night has got even better. Starting to get particularly excited about this.
