I've just found this guy today, (i hope this hasnt already been mentioned and that i'm not years behing other people), he's called Eugene McGuinness, and his music is kinda synthy/guitar. A bit Patrick Wolf-esque, but not too much to be annoying He's very good, well, i think he is. I recommend 'High Score', 'Monsters Under the Bed' and 'Child Lost in Tesco'. They're pretty good, with some quite funny observational lyrics. Well worth a short listen... His myspace is www.myspace.com/eugenemcguinness85I hope you enjoy, Wilson

Yes, it is all very fun, if not technically outstanding or particularly original. But the observational kind of lyrics used to describe Britain today are very accurate and fairly witty.
