Owen keeps saying he can't do it live, but I think otherwise. keyboard for the steel drums, and violin for the percussion. loop whichever is easier. the chorus cant be that hard. I think I've tried doing it myself once, if I knew the notes, I'm sure it woiuld've went better.
COME ON OWEN DO IT.
On a side note,
PLEASE PLAY THE MINER BECOMES FORGETFUL / WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN NEXT / BALLAD OF NO-FACE AT EDMONTON!!!

i might be out on a limb here, but i think that if he simplified the steel drums melody, it would be possible to play it live on the violin... but hey, don't take my word for it, i'm not exactly a pro when it comes to music...

edit - ooh i saw your "heartland" album art on the other thread; it's genius! AHHAha Yay! ;D thanks... wonder when we're going to get a look at an actual cover? as for Blue Imelda live. we should never trust owen. especially in his self-doubting states of mind. that said, enjoy. Hey!
I'm re-packaging the set a bit, I've streamlined my control scheme, blah blah blah, bl-blah blah blah. Which means I've unfortunately cut "what songs I can play" in half. But... new songs, many new songs. Even newer than new songs. I don't know where they're coming from.

He played Blue Imelda at TRANZAC? When did this happen?

Judging by several factors, way back when during the rc-20 period. Probably.

Heeheeheehee. I am very pleased that this is how we measure Owen's eras. I would be more pleased if it were 'the crazy haircut period' and the 'blue-stripy-dress-shirt period' but still!

He played Blue Imelda at TRANZAC? When did this happen? Feb 23 2007 i'm quite sure i got this boot leg off this site, but that was ages ago way back when i was still just a lurking visitor.. i think the reason he can't play it now the way he did then is because i think those clicky sounds when the violin begins is the pedal to his boss supper shifter. ..makes me wish i had the patience to figure out how to use the harmony effect on my shifter instead of just screwing around with the low octave bass sounds.. does this also mean owen cannot play 'what do you think will happen next?' as well? i know he use that hamony pedal/abbility on that song too...
