Firstly a fantastic show at Irelands Electric Picnic over the weekend. I brought many friends whod never seen or heard Final Fantasy before and all were stunned. I was wary about what a festival crowd would be like but everyone seemed to be caught up in it and it was a great atmosphere.
However the thing Im kicking myself about is Owen, Clap your hands say yeah, and Architecture in Helsinki all played an impromptu jam session in the small stage at the festivals natural amphitheatre the next day, which I somehow managed to miss.
Id love if anyone has encountered any footage or bootlegs of this session to post them here. Was this grouping a first for all bands involved? Is there any other bootlegs of them working together? Id love to see what I missed.

I was lucky enough to be working at the Chill Stage where the collaboration took place. i got to help all the bands move their gear and set up. It was an amazing experience and I really enjoyed the set they did.
I would also love to get any bootlegs or videos of the event. I was talking to some of the musicians before hand and they all had no idea what was going to happen or what they would play. It was the first time they all played together I believe and it was all very last minute and it just kind of took shape on the Sunday night.
The Final Fantasy set on the Saturday was amazing. The tent was packed full and everyone was so into it. It is great to see people react so positively to such amazing music. That was the best set I have seen Owen play.

I don't think I've heard or seen a bad word said about Electric Picnic, shame the NME didn't report on this one instead of Manchester. In fact I think they just got the one blip (if you can call it that because it was still a good show) on the tour. Coventry was the best show I've been to so far and I wish I had the time to go to some of the US tour (alas family and work commitments prevent it) as Owen is on top form.
