1. So, I think we need a portable turntable as big as the MP3 player. I need this vinyl sound on the street. And YES!! Brilliant idea. If I had a record press and less than a gaping hole of electronics knowledge, I would make that.

Dammit. Still no LP/7". So everyone got theres? Ahhhh I should just email them already huh. Move to Seoul, or else. I think I was pretty quick to pre-order them. Maybe on the first or second day. So. take it easy. They must be near you. These days, I am caged in the lyrics of "Keep The Dog Quiet". Everything in my life is a cage about a cage about a cage. Ah!!

That's great news, it would be a shame if people didn't get a chance to hear this.

Right?! I really don't know what it is. (and I guess I really shouldn't call it a bleach stain being we weren't using bleach) It was washed normally in a load of whites, like normal, and now is--along with an off white towel--now covered with awful coral colored blotches. Its the sort of color you get when you bleach something something black, melancholy tie-dye? ..so, anyone want to buy me a new shirt? Owen? *nudge nudge*

Owen? *nudge nudge* Yeah..nice try.. mine's been through the wringer numerous times and its still as black as the day I obtained it. Actually Mrs Else won't let me near the washing machine because I can dye anything, regardless of what the label (yeah what label..Huhhh) says. I managed to make my sons favourite Italy away shirt a nice shade of pink.. Hmmm I can't work out why he doesn't wear it as a special edition version, like the Palermo one.

yeah, I'm glad I did buy the black one when I got to finally see him live. I sort of preferred how the off-white one looked on me, being black makes me look paler than usual, and plus I had to order that shirt paying for shipping and ext.. oh well. RIP white lewis shirt. you are forever missed. "A package was shipped to you on 02/03/2010 via U.S. Postal Service First-Class to the following address" f-f-ffinallythat said, I'm totally understanding though. The nice people at domino replied to me immediately after I checked in and have been nothing but overly nice and apologetic. Heartlands coming, yeah! I guess theres no need to move to Seoul then Clare.

It does make a difference. The groove is longer on a 45 rpm record for a track so the sound quality is better. I thought it was curious, and I'll admit, was going to be bit of a hassle at first to have to flip the disc after three songs, but I've discovered that it has had the effect of forcing me to be a much more active listener, which I'm really happy about. I've finally fallen into the Heartland, and I like to think that was part of the scheme from the beginning. As a side note, I ordered the Spectrum, 14th Century[//i] 10" from Blocks shortly after I placed my pre-order with Domino, and they (Blocks) sent me an e-mail yesterday saying that they were sorry my package was taking so long to ship, but they were out of boxes for mailing.
I don't even mind, that's so charming.
1. So, I think we need a portable turntable as big as the MP3 player. I need this vinyl sound on the street. 2. I've been trying to rip the 7" b-side and I gave up again. The sound of the files I made...they are all the same. Disaster. Noises and all those....Ah~!?
Clare, you put such a unique spin on the things you say, and this may be one of my favorite posts in a long time. I need that vinyl sound in the street, too. When I was going to college, I had a friend from Seoul who gave me a birthday card that said "Turning twenty is like reaching the moon" and I thought it was one of the most lovely sentiments, and you capture a lot of that spirit in how you write.
Really, you had me at "So, Welcome me people!! ;-)"

I guess theres no need to move to Seoul then Clare. Good for you, Richie. Seoul is too crowded. Clare, you put such a unique spin on the things you say, and this may be one of my favorite posts in a long time. I need that vinyl sound in the street, too. Really, you had me at "So, Welcome me people!! ;-)" Thank You, JackAltman. So, is there some kind of Seoul spirit thing between us? I don't know. Oh, I like that "Turning twenty is like reaching the moon" expression, too. Lovely. And just to remind you, your post has just become one of my favourites. Yeah~! ;D
