Owen was just amazing, as always, and had a few surprises up his sleeves last night the piano was gorgeous Steph's light show was prettier than ever, and soooo sparkly Thank you to 'all the gang', you gave us a night to treasure always Spidey & Don =^..^= =^..^=

Phew....what a show. I been to so many now I've actually lost count but that one was the best so far. Owen playing the old joanna covering Deep Dark United and he even had a go at Jar of Lars. It's funny how some shows just seem to be special and last nights was one of them. Sound was spot on as well, James worked overtime on getting the balance right. At this moment in time the setlist is lost in my mind but I'm sure it will emerge from the fog later today. 1919 at the end...there memory is returning already

Knew it would all come back although I'm stumpped by the Alex Lukashevsky song as I don't have everything DDU or he has done. Looking at listed and based on the lyrics my guess is Smart Retard, but seems too obvious. Hope Owen puts me straight.
anyway that withstanding here's the setlist
The miner becomes forgetful This Lamb Sells Condos Many Lives -> 49 MP Flare Gun What Do You Think Will Happen Next? ------------------------------------------ Stand Up Piano Section Starts Furniture I'm afraid of Japan Jars of Lars (snippet) Cover of Alex Lukashevsky song ----------------------------------------------- Stand Up Piano Section Ends

how was furniture? he played it in halifax and told us it was only the second time ever, he had a lot of trouble with it but it still sounded great. I imagine it's only gotten even better.

Twas great, one man and a piano and who cares if he lost a note here or there. It's on film so you should have an opportunity to judge for yourself soonish.

I have the same question about Please Please Please.. I'll be on the lookout for it on film. Please Please Please was WONDERFUL What a joy to hear again There was a girl there who had travelled from Tokyo and Owen asked her what she wanted to hear, and she requested that one, YAY The look of bliss on her face when he was singing it was priceless

Heya everyone, have to agree with everyone else that it was the most magical perfomance by Owen I've ever seen! The sound was excellent, venue staff were really nice and the audience were great as well - no talking or playing around on cellphones. The only complaint was the heat towards the end..
With regards to the setlist, I don't think he ended up playing adventure.exe in the end (probably upsetting a few phone users). He was also a bit bashful to the start introducing Lamb and Many Lives as "songs we probably won't know". The piano was a lovely touch as well, really enjoyed hearing furniture. The opening bars of Jars of Lars were nice to hear as well. Sorry for being the fanboy who requested that, don't hold it against me!
Jules, were you the guy in the Wolf Parade t-shirt? The filming is great quality and a great souvenir, many thanks for that.
x pete

Yeah I realised my error when I watch the show again...should learn to ignore the setlist, but hey it was The miner becomes forgetful so whose complaining the set list just got better. The reason that Owen asked if you were me is that he knews that Jar of Lars is my favorite song (It really is that good). I suggested Paris 1919 at the end which meant that you missed Song, Song Song so I got my revenge
