I was thinking it may be possible to translate it into open tuning, but that would require tons of tabbing effort.

MAYBE (i could attempt a tab later): opening: A, then ends on B
verse (in pulses every three beats): F F E E F F E E C C B A C C B A back to opening.
to the park (still in pulses of three): A A Bm Bm B B Bm Bm A A B B Bm Bm C
back to opening. i tell her: A G# G#/F# G#/F# F# E D D D C#m Bm B A back to opening verse twice, then end on A.

thank you so much for that already, I'll try around with it in open d, strings are often too ambiguous for standard, and since I taught myself everything I know at guitar, classical composition kills me, but somehow I taught myself basic theory. regardless, I'll work on it tomorrow, when my family isn't asleep, and hopefully eventualy get some acoustic bastardization of the song.

oh god, i'm like a fifth off on all of these I was gonna say... logical sequence but off notes, I'm trying to figure out which open tuning would be best, since its mostly C and B, and E and F(something)... but then tabbing would still always be the biggest bitch.

yo karpe, did you check out the piano video with this song? would you be so kind as to show at least a base for a tab (I think open d is the only way, I've had mixed results)? as previously mentioned, my theory sucks, and I can't read music, and am especially bad with string sections. thanks!!!
