4 sets in two days!! Gonna be incred. I wonder how the sessions work.. like a songwriter's circle maybe?

Aww, I'm kind of (re: really) jealous. I was originally going to go, but due to the distance I'd have to drive to get there it'll no longer be economically feasible...sigh.
Take lots of pictures for me!

interview - AMAZING EFFECTS ON THIS!!! I saw it in Halifax but this one was mind-blowing and I'm pretty sure it was way different

caught his sessions with ridley bent, jon-rae and the river and then later the cape may and eleni mandell today. ridley bent was kinda lol but has one really great song (suicidewinder), owen's "fiddle" solo in it was aweeesome. jon-rae and co were sweet, owen was mind-blowing with the setlist of Took You Two Years.., Fantasy and CN Tower.. actually CN Tower wasn't thrilling but he was pressed for time and that song is never actually bad. later he had some sweet contributions to eleni and cape may, though their attempted improv on the sea kinda killed it a little.. set for that stage was That's When The Audience Died, Better Than Worse and The Sea. was pretty great but cape may were a little unnessecary in the sea and it seemed like he kinda got tired or just sick of playing by the end of better than worse because that got a little sloppy and same with the sea, no offence. everyone was ravenous for FF t-shirts but alas there were none to be had  make sure you bring plenty to your calgary show this fall!! |
