Yes to Victoria. If you go to Owen's myspace you'll see some festivals in July so we can't announce certain cities yet but he's playing most, if not all of the major ones across Canada. Guelph - Sept 28th at the River Run with Great Lake Swimmers too. whoooo! yes! yay! etc... I'll be there with my posse. |

Haha, vito, how old are you? and do you have a fake? (I'm 18 and don't have one... if it were most other venues I wouldn't be so nervous, but Richard's is pretty stringent with IDs. Sigh.)

i'm finding it really sickening that dicksondicks is being shut down!  as if vancouver wasn't already hurting for good, live, med-size venues. so when i was walking by there on canada day (i didn't know that permafrost had already confirmed the oct show - see this thread part 2!) i talked to the guy at the door. apparently it'll be only be open anywhere from oct-dec. i really should've taken a picture of the house next door too as it looked so lovely yet disturbing! little old thing with a chainlink fence topped with barbed wire & tons of gorgeous roses spilling over the fence. erk. sadness!!! sorry for venting.  ummm... permafrost, did you say somewhere you're coming out for this show? cause you deserve something nice. like cookies. sparkly ones, definitely!  |

So...it wouldnt work if i just borrowed a friend's ID to use? Because that sometimes works at other venues |

Richards will probably want two pieces of ID (like the Commodore), so you should probably borrow one picture ID and another with their name on it.
I have no idea what I'm going to do! I almost feel like it's a waste to get a fake now, given that I'll be 19 in nine months, while I've been sneaking into shows for years. Never into Richards though.

Maaaaaybe, if you have a second piece of ID with the same name. That's what I've heard, anyways -- keeping in mind that Richards is not exactly the Media Club, and chances are still slim.
