Has anybody heard the stuff with Cadence Weapon?

Its very good indeedy, i especially love Cadence Weapons 'sharks' with a nice violiny bit over the top. Tis brill, you should check it out!!

Although i cant remember where i got the download from, but it was on CBC i think, im not too sure to be fair.

i subscribe to the andrew bird newsletter and they gave a download link with "sharks" on it because it has andrew bird music.

Andrew Bird is very good; I was only introduced to him by Mr Funkage a week or so ago, but I really like 'Fiery Crash' and 'Plasticities'. He's far better than Cadence Weapon will ever be; I thought he messed up Owen's songs, to be honest, especially the little epileptic spasm he does at the end of 'What Do You Think Will Happen Next?'. I might be misinterpreting it, but Owen's response seems to just back that up, with his sort of what-the-hell-was-that? "yeah...". So yeah, I don't particularly like Cadence Weapon, as you may have gathered.

Andrew Bird was also very impressive at Latitude, interesting to see that he loops a lot as well.

And as for the cadence weapon hatrid, im sure its more due to your disliking of any music which approaches the 'urban' or 'rap' genres!!!

I cant believe ive only just noticed that the music on sharks is Andrew Bird, i thought i recognised it, thank you for pointing it out 'ghtopstlwrkr'. So on 'sharks' what does final fantasy do?

I just heard the CBC session, absolutely brilliant! Might be my favorite version of "Paris 1919".
