Okay. Have you heard Squirrel Babies? Yup! Not impressed. I don't mean to offend anyone's tastes - I mean, to each their own. I just feel kinda alienated by all this music that so many people seem to enjoy so much, and I just don't get it. I feel like I'm stupid or ignorant and that I'm just... missing something. But maybe that's just me being mean to myself and I just plain don't like it. Like I said, to each their own. P.S. I don't think I used the word "alienated" in the appropriate context, but I'm just addicted to that word these days, I don't know why. There's something really satisfying about it. |

squirrel babies sounds good until they start singing....the beginning reminds me of bad early 90s nintendo video games like Blob.

holy crap tonight was incredible! I was lucky enough to be front row so I got some pictures and videotaped pretty much all the songs...I'm going to slowly upload them on youtube and i'll post my pictures when i get a chance. One thing I have to say: I am SO happy that I bought tickets for both shows...it was amazing! Oh, and if anyone wants to go tomorrow, they're selling 30 tickets at the door (i think it's 30 - that's how many they were selling for tonight). EDIT: and the videos begin! Seeing those clips just make it such a pain that there's this atlantic ocean thing in the way. I would fly but the globe is warm enough already and my family bank balance wouldn't take the strain. Guesss I just have to be patient and wait.

Amazing show yesterday. Final Fantasy gigs are always unique from all the other live shows I've attended. I loved the projections. (though the letter shown during 'Hey Dad' made me feel a little teary-eyed.) When I read that a cover of 'Paris 1919' was being worked on, I thought it might sound a bit dodgy. I was wrong. I was also really impressed by The Phonemes. Magali is beautiful. Oh, and I was disappointed when there weren't any bags left. I am too lazy to silkscreen my own, damnit!
