Cabbages ... at least as i hear it. I still say he just likes us guessing. That's it, isn't it, Owen? That's it!

Actually, it's "Cattages" or "Caddages". It's deffinitely a "a" sound. Either that or Owen's accent is weirder than i thought

i didn't say it was a word, i said it was the word ... or at least appeared to be. he did say he was mumbling :S How much berry berry juice where you drinking when you heard the caddages. The song is a lament to the lack of rural housing in Ontario, particulaily in the Moosonee hinterland on the banks of Hudson Bay. No.... okay its really about a bad christmas shopping trip experience to England where Owen wanted to stay at Claridges, but they were full.

Actually, it's "Cattages" or "Caddages". Yeah, I definately hear something with an "a" like that, like, what you said or cabbages or something.

I like that, even after Owen said the lyrics aren't set yet, this is a three page thread.

I like that, even after Owen said the lyrics aren't set yet, this is a three page thread. Only 3 page. They can 12 out of a joke on other sites. we're just not working hard enough at this thing.

I don't know if anyone will see this but anyhow, I found another version of it named "Y'all" on this website: www.lullabyes.net/blog/2006_11_01_archive.htmlScroll all the way down until Owen Picture shows up. There's a boatload of live mp3s and they're all in really good quality.

What's the one in there that's titled "spell for a weak heart"? I don't think that's the song it is.

No, you're right. That's 'What Do You Think Will Happen Next?'. Another fantastic Owen song. There's a proper studio version of it on the Many Lives EP.
