I'm pretty sure he only covered it back in his Les Mouches days, the only live recordings of theirs I've found were a couple videos, but that wasn't one of the songs.

Aaahhh!! You write for UP? How cute! Bryan Parker is a friend of mine. I was there for the very first UP meeting, before it even started. I was going to write for him, but I just didn't have the time. So, alas, I flaked out on him. Were you at the UP showcase at SXSW this year?

alas i wasnt,I didnt start writing for the site until right after SXSW, but bryan acutally invited me at some other showcase, but the people that I was with wanted to do something else/were the ones driving....shows you what friends are for ..haha

Yeah, I've learned that friends will really mess up your schedule at SXSW. Consequentially, I've become kind of ruthless. I always tell them: "Look, I love you, but don't get in my way. I'm here to see the shows I want to see, and I'm going with or without you. SXSW is every woman for herself time!"
But anyway, I'm tickled pink to meet someone who writes for Bryan, even if it is only fake internet meeting. How do you know him?
