nahhh. aside from the looping pedal and the violin there's very few similarities between FF and Bird anyway.
then again, i haven't heard Spell For A Weak Heart in a really long time and don't have the EP, so i guess i can't judge...

its the violin line from nervous tic that really does it, especially in the live version he uses a near exact plucking pattern.

heh, i managed to stream it from some obscure blog and now i can definitively say: well, er, i disagree if this were a real life conversation this would probably involve much humming and gesticulating, but since i'm not so hot with musical jargon, i can't really put into words why they sound different to me. i can see the passing similarity though, and i can't say i've seen either song live. touché...

I don't see a similarity, but people have in the past -- Owen I think was gonna put it on HAGH but someone talked him out of it for this reason.
Nervous tic is my favorite AB song, though.
I can't really say they feel the same.

Addendum! That last sentence should read with a 'to me' at the end, my fault.

... uh.
If I may, ... what the hell are you talking about? This doesn't sound anything like 'A Nervous Tic Motion of a Head to the Left.'
