Oh, despite all the grouchiness, I am trying to do "Everywhere" by Fleetwood Mac. Good song! But hard to cover. The original is so perfect, in every way.

I'd very much like to cover "New Year's Kiss" by Casiotone, and "Lysine" by Max Tundra, but really, I've got to stop thinking about this crap and keep working on my own records, you know? I could see an Owen cover of Owen working, etiquette is a geat album. However I would rather see you attempt " A Normal Suburban Lifestyle Is A Near Impossibility Once You've Fallen In Love With An International Spy". You'd need to lush it out a bit, but the "Get Down" loop would be fun. Thinking of Max Tundra makes me thing you should do a cover of Bookish - Terry Riley Disco. Keep thinking carp

No hate for Rufus. Love Rufus. But "Cigarettes And Chocolate Milk"? Come ON. My favourite Rufus jam is "Poses". Hilarious lyrics! ... I'd very much like to cover "New Year's Kiss" by Casiotone, and "Lysine" by Max Tundra, but really, I've got to stop thinking about this crap and keep working on my own records, you know? Oh! Oh! Do Love Connection. Pallett covering Ashworth covering Parenthetical Girls. A collision of three types of awesomeness. It would create a vortex or a wormhole or something. And surely Vibrate one-ups Poses just a tad on the kitsch greatness. ... Perhaps we ask too much.

Its clear Owen, that you really need to cover some pop/rocks by the likes of Architecture in Helsinki. Do The Whirlwind! Or maybe you should cover 'Us Ones In Between' by Sunset Rubdown

Who are you? Are you me? I love both of those as I would beloved pets...! It's possible we are one in the same. But then again, I have to say that I am not a girl, SO maybe not so much... I know! Lets be the best of friends.

Naturally. Let's buy matching lunchboxes, and you can share my sandwich.
Talking of covers, has anyone heard the Grizz's cover of "Owner of a Lonely Heart"? I only found out about it today. So, SO good...

I already covered Architecture in Helsinki. The first song on the first album. You know? "I've / never seen you feel this much / It's time that we / left this haunted town..."
It never went so well. I tried to loop a very complex beat. Never worked.
I've got that John Cale song down, though. It's nice. I like to play it because it's... humbling.
